It was a nice one, Erin. We went to see A Christmas Carol at a tiny local theater. It was a funnier-than-dirt adaptation of the original story. We laughed so hard. For dinner we went to a place in Old Sacramento that we hadn't been to in a long time. Unfortunately we remembered pretty quickly why that was. It was not exactly bad, but for the price it was not good enough. That's OK - we enjoyed each other's company.

Glad it was nice Martina. Everything (even so-so food at expensive prices) is always better with good company.

Just sitting here admiring my tree and it's lone gift. A kit from Craftsy! My husband has already opened his gift and is playing with it (metal detector).

That's one more gift than I am getting, PaperPriness. Enjoy!

OK, it's the end of the year. How did you do?
I think I'm about even... used stash, gave some away, but added some too...
I'll request that this thread be closed the end of this week. Look for the 2017 moratorium in early January.

I'm taking a deep breath! I work tomorrow and finish the bolt is 50% off...then my DD is considering repainting their home...it has been 15 years since they moved in..soooo maybe a new quilt and have an idea for some fabric at work....oh tread lightly around the sale area.....This would put me over my budgeted allowance for the year!

I did better than the year prior but I could have done better yet. I have so many pieces of fabric that I love that I really need to figure them into quilts - rather than adding more so I'm in for next year as well.
oksewglad good luck on the sale at work. I would be so tempted!!
