2016 UFO Challenge of the Month
#1931
I've been working hard on my UFO pile. Here are three that now completely finished!
QBW for my bed
Wedding quilt for my nephew- made from 35 year old fabric from his Mom's stash.
A Bella Bella quilt - this one only took about a year from start to finish. less time than the two above.
This one is not completed yet - but wanted to share as it was cut out in 2014 - and finally made it to the floppy stage!

Love your finishes, Macybaby!! They're all gorgeous, but I'm very partial to tessellations, so the cats is my fave!! Love it!!
I may not get any UFO's done for August, as I have a "consignment" customer quilt to do. She wanted, very specifically, a quilt with horses... but not just any horses, she wanted black and white "paint" horses. So, I left work early one day, and visited a new-to-me LQS - both to look for horse fabric, and to pick up their "row-by-row" kit.
Lo and behold, they had an entire fabric line that had panels, and horses... and yes, some of the horses are black-and-white paint horses. Her original request was for a twin-sized quilt, so I bought what I thought would be enough for that, and bought some for myself as well (we have 5 horses, and I just LOVED the fabric!!).
Soooo... I showed her the panels and fabric... and her ordered morphed from a twin-size to a queen, with matching pillows from the panels. So, I'm going to be working on the design and creation of this for awhile. :0
Which means (probably) no UFO finishes for me this month. :P

Macybaby, congratulations to you on three huge finishes! Wow. Must feel really great to check those off your list. While I'm not a cat person, I sure do like that cat quilt. Fascinating pattern and the best fabric choices!!
