Thanks for the link, retiredteacher09. All I can say is why didn't I think of this easy scrap eater! I look forward to throwing caution to the wind and feeding my scraps to my machine and making some quilts for donation or whatever. I see this as an potential on going project. I am off to a sewing bee today and want so much to do this scrap eater but I have a few quilts to finish that must be finished, binding and labels. Then it is time to start a new quilt for a Christmas gift.

My first UFO...wohoo!!! It was for my great niece's 16th birthday. She is now 21 and just retired her crown as Miss Arizona, Madison Esteves. So proud of her! Off in the mail Monday.

I have several irons in the fire. i've got to stay organized if I want to complete anything this year. Just making progress on some UFOs will be a help. Plus, I have people counting on me to complete some of them. Knowing I am not alone might be the best help of all. Count me in if we can count progress vs completions (because mine are all bed sized quilts.) In other words, I'm covered in incomplete covers.. Ha Ha or Cry Cry? I assume it is never too late to start....is it ok to start this in August?

Nice fancy feet...it will be enjoyed.

JaneQuilter, it's never too late to start...I like that "covered in incomplete covers"....despite the number of quilts I finish I have many in limbo..and progress is a step to completion...I have paired batting, backing and tops for four quilts with a bit of sewing on the last one...I started going through fabric and weeding out fabrics I won't use in a planned quilt...these will go into scrap quilts...I started matching fabrics in bundles of 3 to 5 fabrics. One such group I planned a quilt in EQ and am excited to start on it...but after I get at least 2 of the large quilts fun and done.....we all need encouragement now and again...

Welcome Jane Quilter. oksewglad is absolutely right never too late to start. vovoa love the quilt, want the quilt, hum how many do i have on my bucket list already? But I mean I'm enough of a shoeholic that I could design the quilt around the shoes i have bought over the years. Clogs, Moccasins, Dance Shoes, Combat Shoes, Sequined Shoes, and the list just keeps on growing. OMG platforms...

Yayyyyyyyy!!! I finally get to post a photo and a finish. I actually finished it the first week of August, but had to wait for my son to get home so he could hold it up for the photo. This is the FU logo for my son's 2-SUNS brand for his art and creations, done in pixelation. We call that 9P.
