Hi Gladdie, been gone for quite a while, over two years. Lost my Mom and Bill in that time. Trying to get my life back on track.

Kwiltkrazy, so very sorry to hear of your losses. Thinking of you and holding you close in my heart as you work your way thru such difficult times.
Getting back to your kwilts is a good sign and will also be a big help in finding your way. Hugs and more hugs!

Thanks Linda. Trying to get some things done, been working on DIL's OBW center is all done, but the borders are taking me forever, doing vines with 3-D flowers, and bouquets in the corners. I find that, like you said, quilting is very therapeutic.

joe'smom yes it is a robe fabric from Joann's and I brought it to the front to give it a binding look.

redstilettos : Pattern is by O P Designs Mommy & Me Designed by Colette Belt # OP1401

I love this pattern I've made about 4 so far. Going to use this pattern with different themes Cars, Monkey's, Giraffe's when I get some extra time.

I can almost count a finish...hand stitching the binding on a log cabin variation made with 2.5" scraps. I straight line quilted it...had a nice wide flannel backing to use...this will be a cozy quilt...hopefully will share pictures of this and the earlier finishes later this week...just pulled the batting out of the dryer for the next UFO....

you go oksewglad. You are doing great. Look forward to the picture of the log cabin variation.

I'm still working on current projects but I'm getting caught up with those so I can start on finishing the other UFO's. I'm excited.

Oh goodness, if potholders count, my list of UFOs just went up about 10 more projects! I have a box that I cut up and started on, then left because of my short attention span and the moment passed. Guess I get to get on those so I can say that I have some more finishes for August. I suppose the Christmas wool hangings that are sitting in a tub that need done that the spouse even cut out for them in May of 2015 should be done as well. Oh bother, the things I start. Does that mean my intentions with all the t-shirts that I have stacked with interfacing to embroider count as well? Or the sweatshirt I wanted to get embroidered before my old embroidery machine died count? Or the...... The list just keeps getting longer and longer. Woe is me.

I got a UFO completed last night. I had 8 quilt blocks leftover from a quilt made last summer. I had been accumulating fabrics to add more blocks. In the end, I just wanted them gone so I decreased the intended size of the quilt by adding only 4 more blocks. Then sashing and two borders made it large enough for a child's quilt. I have two more in the works. I am hoping to have at least one done by the end of the month.

Do i have to count the log cabin blocks that I found in the donated stash as a UFO for me now? lol. That's one way to get UFO's.
