Oh my gosh, I have one of those. Maybe with luck I will have two finishes for August, since I didn't get one done in July.

Not a UFO, but here is why I have been working on my UFO's.

This is my 2016 Row-by-Row quilt that I turned into Hannah Johnson in Duluth, MN.

Now it is back to regularly scheduled UFO's

Silliness: Great way to use up those blocks and make it a quicker finish than you had planned.

Tkhooper: I wouldn't consider someone else's blocks UFOs but you could combine them with other blocks like Silliness did and consider it done. . I am currently taking some donated blocks and some of my practice blocks and combining it with a newly found UFO that has 2.5" strips in various lengths. Hopefully I will get it done before the end of the month.

AnokaQuilter: Great looking row by row.

    Love your Row-By-Row, Anoka!

Alas, I will not be finishing a UFO this month.
Between working so much on my job, visits with grandbabies, a customer quilt and a commissioned quilt, August slipped away from me... but when the commission came in, I knew I wasn't going to get anything of my own done.

Hubby has been sick for nearly a week now with a really vicious stomach virus - I'm just hoping he doesn't pass it along to me!! So, "baby-sitting" a sick man has taken up what little spare time I had... plus the fact that I had to do all the livestock care and feeding while he's been sick.

He had the audacity to wake up last night (because he's slept so much during the day) and turn on the TV (at BLAST volume) at 3:00AM. I reminded him that I am not sick, and WILL be going into work today, so could he please lower the volume?!?!?

    Default UFO Finished!!!

Here is one that's been percolating for 4 years. The blocks on the left are QAYG orphans from a large table topper. The ones on the right were from an improvisational quilt that I cut to pieces and then QAYG'd, then set aside because I still couldn't decide what to do with them. i finally decided how I wanted to set the thing. It's called Koyaanisqatsi, named after a film from the 80's.
