After moving the half finished Christmas stocking out of my way for the third time this week it hit me this would be an easy UFO to finish. I had made a couple of these for family last year and every time I finished one got asked for another so started another as an extra but did not have anything suitable for a lining. I had a color way picked but after making three blocks it was not working for me so I switched my neutral out. The original three blocks I thought would make an Ok table runner and set it aside with the thought to make them into one. So UFO or not? Not what the blocks were intended for but just I thought of what I might do with them someday to get them out of my orphan block stack. I also took five other orphan patriotic blocks and putting them together as well as a runner. I like to quilt several projects at one time if I can and will be doing these with the two UFO quilts.

Here is a finish. I bought this kit a few years back, worked on the embroidery and got stuck on how to finish it. Just could not get the top assembled. With Annaquilts help, it is done. Yippeee! She helped me assemble the top. Totally completed even the binding. Ready for quilt show.
