The Santa, Stocking, and Teddy Bear are from a panel I purchased way back in 93 and just now finished using them. I put them on stockings and sweatshirts for the family. Now they are in this quilt. She will remember those.

Wow! Congratulations on the Christmas sampler. It's wonderful. It was quite a big job. Toot, toot!!!

    Merry Christmas to you, too.

The backing was from one of those Black Friday sales years ago that I got a great price on. Hubby asked why I pieced it, I asked him if he really wanted me to buy more fabric. Yep, he got quiet. I used varigated red/green Magnifico thread on top and So Fine red on the bottom with a Baptist Fan missing the buttons that were already sewn on and the crystals. When swapping blocks, do not put embellishments on them. Find your block.

    Have a Wonderful Christmas everyone.

QM- neat sampler, I love looking at all the different blocks that you've collected over the years. Good job!

Janice- I may have one more finish before the end of the year. We're both still getting over either a really, really bad cold or the flu (yes, we did get our flu shots this year). Last week I spent The better part of 4 whole days in bed with it, so am way behind on all things Christmas and still very low on energy---yikes!

Another UFO finish! This is a baby quilt top that will be donated to an organization that will complete it. It is 42 by 48.

I have 2 more UFO's. I am hoping to finish one more before the year is over. I need to sew the rows together, add borders, and then decide how I am going to quilt and bind it.

Rob, I hope you are getting your energy back.

QM-beautiful quilt and I like how you incorporated the memory of the Santa, teddy bear, and stocking.

Janice- thank you for being our engineer. You do a great job!

To all of you: Thanks for sharing your beautiful finishes. You are a great inspiration to me!

    Blessings, Connie

I'll hold a space open for your then! Sorry to hear about your bout with the flu. Both my sons are visiting and the youngest brought the flu with him but he kept it to himself, thank goodness. I generally get flu shots too since I'm my elderly mother's primary caregiver and I've been lucky so far. Try to get a little extra rest IF you can. [QUOTE=rryder;7723379]QM
