Fraew, love the tumbler quilt. Just beautiful!
I finished my last UFO for the year last night. I started it last December. It was planned for my stepmother's 50th birthday last January, but she will get it this year instead for her birthday. She is a mail carrier and a Denver Bronco's fan, so I tried to give a nod to each of those things in the quilt without it being so obvious.

Frew - nice tumbler - you can do it and get it done for 2016.
Sillness - very nice quilt. Love the pattern and colors.
My goal was to get one UFO done a month. Well I got 11 done by June and haven't finished another one since. So that means if I get just one more done that at least I will meet my goal of one done a month. Just too much fun being in some of the swaps on here which means I am always starting new things. The good thing about that is that at least they get done and don't become UFO's.

Those turned out great I love tumbler quilts and what a great Idea for a letter carrier. DH quilt is finally in the wash I think I was more surprised on what went right on this quilt then by what went wrong. I even started to sew on the binding with the fold in instead of the raw edge. I have never done that lol
Still fighting the cold but at least this year It will make it under the tree pretty sure he has seen it but awh well. Off to work on a couple more UFO Christmas stockings so I can actually put the stuff I bought for them in them. huh novel idea? I will try and get some pictures I just have not really been feeling well still

I have followed this thread all year. I piece & quilt like mad, but rarely finish quilts. I started this quilt, a baby gift for my 3rd Gdau August 2015, finished August 2016.
Front, pieced back, back side of FMQ medallion & front side of FMQ medallion. about 42x60, blocks finish at 1-3/4". My own variation of Irish Chain.
