Thanks Lisa,
The smallest one is coaster sized.
The two that have straight line quilting and funky angled edges started out to be potholders 5 years ago, but I had a brain fart and forgot to add the insulbright before quilting them, not to mention that all that close quilting would have made them not very good at protecting against burns, which is why they sat on the UFO pile for so long, now I like to think of them as overly large coasters, or smallish table protectors LOL.
The larger one is a 17.5" square dresden block that I pieced pieced as part of Amy Gibson's 2012 block of the month over on Craftsy, and then decided I didn't like the fabrics I'd chosen so it ended up on the UFO pile in Dec. of 2012-- I'm thinking I'll use it as a table topper .

Anyone working on a finish today? Not me, I'm working on getting my new swap set up and making sure I don't miss any UFO finishes. I'm about to submit the new 2017 UFO challenge thread. When it's posted, I'll share the link here. All 2017 finishes should go there, and any 2016 finishes here.
Wow. 2017 is just around the corner now...

I'm done for 2016. I did a quick guestimmate of the UFOs I've still got in the pile and it's probably between 30 and 40--I guess that will give me plenty to choose from for 2017 LOL.
Happy New Year everyone.

Here's the link to the new 2017 UFO Challenge:

Please go on over and start posting your name, number of UFOs and goals for 2017 if you wish. All finishes starting tomorrow will go there. Who will have 2017's first finish?
See you there tomorrow. Happy New Year!

So many, so wonderful pictures! I can't compete with that, I didn't even get my one done. Should have, tried to but both of my machines do not like quilting these last two blocks. I'm giving up and will do them by hand. I don't think the baby will mind. I will join you all next year. You got me back in the sewing, I won't leave you yet!
