Here is one reason why my projects don't get done....furry interruptions.

What a cute little kitty, Martina! But what I want to see is that quilt top he/she is lying under. It looks like something cool and hexagonal!

I have two rows left to sew on and then the center will be completed. At least I am making progress.

Martina, I have one of those furry interrupters, too. When he has so many spaces in my quilting room, why he has to lay on the project I am working on is something only a cat know!

My kitty likes to lay on the my foot while I am sewing! I guess she wants me to sew faster! Good thing I have a speed adjustment on the machine so it won't take a running leap when she pounces!!! Lol

And here's one of the reasons I have interruptions in my hand quilting of that red log cabin on the back of the sofa.

Although this pic is from 2014, I've just begun working on it again. I really only have a few more hours of work and then the binding. I thought I'd be done by now but no such luck. Soon!

Oh what great furry interrupters. Mine did the foot thing to me one day when I wasn't expecting it and I almost stitched my finger. We had a talk after that about what was ok and what wasn't. Of course they do it because the attention isn't on them. Aren't they great. Those pictures would be a great start on a calendar.

Here are my first two finishes for 2016! One for a friend who built a log home and one for myself.
