Thank you, OK. I remember one year, I purchased fabric on New Year's Day and told the sales lady, that I hadn't purchased fabric since last year! LOL

Leta I am so sorry to hear about your little companion.
Well it has come to the time that I have to acknowledge the fact that I overbought fabric plus my stash which is getting to be a nightmare! I lost count of UFO's, fQ's, jelly rolls, charms, and other fabric. What a mess!
I hope that I can join for next year!

Ok Paper Princess, I should be on that thread. I really need to cut down on the purchases and keep sewing up what I've got. I did a BOM Fresh Lilacs and bought a lot of extra yardage and insurance bundles so that I would not run out. Well, I'm still working on a tub full and I've done 5 queen sized tops. Here is the latest one and I still have the borders to put on. This is the Autumn Evenings from Debbie Thompson MacInnis which was a free bow program. I added 5 more blocks to get enough for my on point setting. Now to get them quilted.

Battle Axe just a lovely quilt top. Looking forward to seeing it when it is done.
I glad we don't start until next week. I bought fabric to swap for the BD 2.5" candy swap next year and since I was buying, I got carried away and bought stuff for me. Which I really don't need. And that is why I will sign up for this thread next year 2018.
Merry Christmas everyone and Happy new Year!!!!!!

Blue Bell and sunrise450: Please join us.
PaperPrincess: Thanks for getting this thread started for next year. I really enjoy being part of it.
My niece’s husband bought me a Santa gift for helping out with their 3 girls while their mom was in the hospital. I got a candle and a $20 JoAnn’s gift card. Yippee!

This is the first time I've tried to post from my phone... so, fingers crossed.
Blue bell and Sunrise, welcome aboard! This group DOES help me stay on track to not buy more fabric (or at least, a lot less than I would otherwise).
Merry Christmas to everyone! I've been with the grand babies today - candlelight service last night. These are the things that remind me of how precious this season is, despite losing someone we love.
Much love to all my friends here on the Quilting Board!

Battle Axe, Your purple quilt is beautiful! Where did you get your bom from? Or is it wrong to ask? My dh and I love purple.
