Just don't know. Do you need any? I can think of lots of fabric I need, might find something else suitable. Might I need a fix? Is it more than 50 miles from home?
Since staying away from quilt stores, I've been able to money in savings each month.

Thanks, Rob for the band-aid and hand up. I just pulled out my box of Christmas fabrics and with the ones I just purchased will have enough in both blue/white and red/green to make five or six quilts or many, many wall hangings. If I like the wall hanging kit from CT enough (and I think I will), I'll make several in various colour schemes for Christmas gifts. It's this one: http://www.connectingthreads.com/kit...t__D90891.html. The cost was the same as the fabric without the pattern, so I feel it was a bargain.

HA! Do I NEED any? <gggggg> probably not for a few decades. lol
On the other hand, I could stop by there and buy some gifties for the other retreaters. That way I could get my fix, I would make others happy, and nothing comes home with me (or maybe just a little).

I'm debating...I finished Tula Pink's City blocks (which I have cut from mostly other's scrap batiks) and have created a plan for the blocks. I need 3.5 yards to set the blocks to make a quilt. Now, if I use scrap vertical sashes between the blocks I can get by with less. It won't interfere with the design and in fact I think will enhance to overall design. I can save 3/4 yd of fabric by doing so. I think this is a win win as I get rid of stash and have less fabric to buy. I could also use a stash background piece...not a batik..that would look okay, but I have 2 yards more than I need and I really bought it for background for a scrappy quilt...Okay I talked myself into buying a batik and using scrap pieces for sashing...darn I don't work until next Monday and I think there's a piece there that will work...
It's so good to "talk" this out! Thanks for listening
