Guess I'll have to do some push ups too... that sale and coupon that Connecting threads had last week was just too tempting. I ended up buying 6 yards of fabric...oops...it's not here yet, but as I recall I tried to stick to colors that I'd used up out of my stash... On the bright side, My stash is noticeably smaller than it was when I joined this thread a couple years ago

I'm still looking at those 17 one third yd pieces - 6 1/3 yards. I don't do push ups. How many planks? for how long?

You'all need to drop and give us 10 push-ups..... Irishrose2....standing on your head for 2 minutes should suffice...

Well, then, my choice is not buy the fabric or buy it and beg forgiveness. Planks, down dogs, warriors, I can do, but not standing on my head. I have absolutely no desire to try.

Good decision, Irishrose! Remember what our mothers said, "You can freeze that way! And then what will you do?!" It's too hard to quilt upside down! You made an excellent choice of just not buying any fabric.

For good I finished my Halloween ufo twister. Queen size. I had to add 24” of border to take from a throw to queen size. I used my stash for this and only bought backing and black batting to finish it. I posted pic under UFO section.

The not so good news, I went to my retreat and bought backing fabric for my 9-patch king size quilt, and joined 2 more BOM. Then I ordered 4.5 yards of fabric to finish my Nebraska quilt top which I started last week. I really had fun on that retreat. I stayed up all night on one night and until 0230 the other night. Such great fun.

Scores, fabric bought tons, happiness knows no such limits, therefore you are ahead of the game.

By the way, completed UFO gives a fabric exemption.

There should have been some kind of an exemption applied:
1. I just got out of the hospital.
2. The Grandfather clock needed winding.
3. There are more than three light bulbs burned out.

Then there is no standing on head.
