Way to finish a project you don't care for...JJBlaine. It is a lovely Christmas quilt. Display it from the quilted side if you want to!

Oh, I like the top row so much. Congrats on getting this out of your UFO pile and into the finished pile. A feeling of satisfaction is terrific and look what you have learned since you started this in 2001!

Fantastic finish JJBlaine, it’s a very pretty quilt and your hand quilting is gorgeous!

JJBlaine, what a pretty Christmas quilt. Good job on keeping with the hand quilting. Hand quilting is not on y list of things to do. I think it’s great other quilters have the patience to do this. Congrates for your finish.

I’m still working on my Halloween blocks. I change the block to 16 patch 12” blocks. That will enlarge it to 24” and then I can just add a solid black border. Now off this board and get back to sewing blocks. Happy sewing and quiltingeveryone.

JJBlaine: Congratulations on a wonderful finish!

    I have another UFO finish!

A lady from church donated this top that I am assuming was supposed to be a wallhanging because she had started to hand quilt it and it even had all of the basting pins still in it! My church friends and I decided to make it into a donation top so I added the big leaves and border from my stash. It now measures around 68" by 78" and will be finished by my church group.

Today I started putting sashing on my last 'known' personal UFO. I do have other people's UFO's lurking but I want to get mine done first. Wish me luck!

You did a great job of matching colors with those leaves. It looks planned, not an add on. Looks good!

I finished an August UFO! It hasn't been in the pile too long, since it was a guild mystery last year. But since it should have been finished in May, it graduated to UFO status. And now it's done! I'll be donating this to our charity project when guild starts up again in September.
