Way to go Oksewglad, your stash fabrics really pulled it together. Excellent finish!

    An August UFO finish!

Someone donated the 9 patches to my church group. There were around 270 of them and I used 66 of them in this finish. I needed to trim them first and then I added the sashing for a 7” Block. I added the plain blocks and it now finishes 72” by 78”. The top will now be given back to my church group to sandwich/bind/tie. Then it will be donated.

Depending on the setting for the rest of the blocks, I may get 3 more quilt tops from the 9 patches.

Another August UFO complete! This quilt was a mystery from LoveShackQuilts.ca last year. I took the blocks, but didn't like the layout so I switched it up and made this giant heart quilt. Of course, it's now too big to donate anywhere, so I'll have to find a home for it.

retiredteacher, you did a great job with those donated 9-patches.

Krista, congrats on another UFO finish. I like the clever way you rearranged the blocks.

    Beautiful finishes, ladies...

Krista.....darling layout on this quilt. I have made many quilts that I didn't donate and just kinda kept an inventory for when something unexpected comes up that is in need of a gift. However, every time my sisters come over they want one...lol... They love every quilt I make amd are sentimental... Anywhoo....your quilt turned out cool...

Good advice, Teen. Krista I think that's a keeper, too.

Retired...you manage to do such a wonderful job with donated fabrics...keep them coming...

Oh my what lovely wonderful completed UFO's I've been seeing. Couldn't sleep tonight so here I am reading this entire thread. You all have worked so hard to finish your beautiful works of art. I applaud each one of you. Gives me hope.

I've completed one of The Square Dancers quilts and have all of the blocks finished for the other four quilts! Being a two sided quilt it is comparable to 10 quilt tops! So a bit of work has been accomplished. My only posts here were in January. I'd forgotten that I had joined up with you all.. sigh... I've been caring for my 91 year old mom and get side tract somewhat.

I needed a break from the above mentioned stuff and finished 4 place mats that were started 3 years ago.

That's about it from me. Hopefully I'll get the afore mentioned 4 quilts done by years end! That might be pushing it a tad but perhaps one is more likely. grin.

I just finished this one! It may stay like this for awhile because the only person I have found to quilt it can't take it until January! (My daughter is laughing trying not to drop it. She couldn't quite get it straight. This was my fist Judy Niemeyer
