I got a wall hanging done, it just needed the binding and a lap quilt that was from one of the train ride mysteries from I don't know when....but the binding is finally done so it is finished.

I finished the binding last weekend for the four donation baby quilts. 1 UFO to 4 baby quilts. I picked out the colors for this quilt based on a top from the ~30's from my great aunt.

Boy, I haven’t finished a single ufo yet....the one I decided to finish first just needs the binding finished. I don’t know why it is taking me so long. I’m around 2 corners now.
I have 3 tops to get quilted and a couple incomplete tops — ones I made a center and ground to a halt, wanting to make them larger but either haven’t figured out how yet or know how just haven’t got to yet.
Then I have the ( granddaddy) of my ufos it is a quilt as you go project that has been in a box, in hundreds of pieces & batting strips for 15 years now; for numerous reasons....last night on my way home from work I was thinking about that quilt and actually thought of the person it would be perfect for...maybe that will finally bring it back out. Anyway -
i hope to start sharing some finishes.....

OK, I have a finish to be added to the January numbers.

This UFO is 13 years old. It was started in the spring of 2004 and was suppose to be a baby quilt for my Grandson who was to be born in September. So 13 years later it is now finished. I plan on giving it to him on Valentines day. It should be interesting to see how he decides to use it. I did put a sleeve on it in case he wanted to use it as a wallhanging.
