Rob....excellent placemats....I love that each sibling will be getting a bit of grandma...

Krista...your quilt is outstanding.... Really pretty use of the striped Kaffe. I have never purchased Kaffe fabric. I'm going to have to pay more attention to it in LQS.

    Congrats to you Both!!!

Hey Rob!!!! I tried a new technique today using the thread clippings from the back of my SBS. Thought I'd make a momento.....thought about you today as I did this....not nearly as pretty as your stuff but I had fun.... It's a 6" mug rug...

Can't see in picture but there are sparkly crystals in there, too...

Cute and isn't it great to have inspiration from others here on board. A friend just showed me a cow quilt she saw in Paducah...she thought of me and I can see how I can build from the quilt she shared!

Yes, I love the inspiration from the members. You, oksewglad, inspired my "mini" journey. Never thought I'd do mini's. I actually picked up a mini kit in Idaho last month and thought of you. Super cute but looks a bit challenging still. I'll keep practicing.

Cannyquilter - Cute quilt and adorable Baby!

QuilterMomma - Love the UFO great finish.

kristakz - Don't you just love it when they only needed quilting and binding finished. Such bright colors.

Teen - I think you should put it on the wall it's too cute to put under a mug.

Rob - You are on a Roll!!!

    Default 1 Finish for May

Me I have a finish this month! I still have to figure out which train ride this is but it is done and I can use it!

I finished it tonight but did most of it this weekend at the lake. Not much in the way of internet so could read but no posting from the cabin. Here is the back, not a good picture but you can kind of see the stitching, first totally by hand.

But most of the sewing was on the Chemo quilt. Here is a update.

A few more seams then the borders. Hope I have enough yellow.

I have a finish for May. It’s a simple pattern, lap quilt, I made almost a year ago & it just needed quilting. Now it’s off my UFO pile. For some reason, I can’t post a picture. I’ll try tomorrow.
