Fantastic finishes Madeline and CarrieM!
I'm still working on the UFO that was supposed to be my June finish LOL! Oh well, it will get done eventually, but I'm probably going to have fewer UFO completions this year than i'd wanted.

The UFO count for July was 19, yea!!!! The 2 members with the most finishes were Petthefabric = 7 and Motorcyclemad = 4.
I completed my 3 Baby quilts I was working on, now on to more projects. (1) Batik 12.5" swap blocks twin quilt. Blocks all made and black sashing cut. Just need to lay out and sew top together. And going back to Pink and blue top (still making the blocks) and a Halloween queen size top (still making pieces). Anyway happy sewing/quilting everyone.

Lovely indeed Carrie! We've just had a couple embroidered baby quilts done at the shop and finishes like yours just take them up a notch.
LOL Teen with UFO's! You have me laughing. FYI our guild is having a UFO challenge for the year...will see how may take up the challenge? I'm starting off the meeting with some of mine and how/why they happened, how to handle them and how to prevent. Do you want to come and visit us in September? Oh to be fair 2 of the 4 on the program committee do not have UFO's. Like you, they are so much more disciplined than me!
Motorcyclemaid you not only finished UFO's, you finished big UFO's...Kuddos!

I'll be there in September!! Lol... UFO's cause me stress so that is how I'm able to stay with a project until completed. Right now, it's frustrating since I've not the space or access to my stuff to complete my projects...but, I'm hanging on to the idea that this is temporary. Whatever works! Lol!

Thanks, Rob.
I definitely understand getting fewer UFOs done than I had planned. Three of those four were more than 2 or 3 years past "expected completion" date.

I finally got several row-sets ironed. Hopefully, I can get the rows sewn and borders put on them within the next week. Wish me luck.

Count an August finish for me! This past week while purging, I found 56 denim and cotton quilt blocks numbered and ready to sew. I put them together in 2 night time sewings. The next night I pinned to the LA..then spent yesterday getting ready for company. This morning when 15 yo GD was here I enticed her to start meandering! This was her first time at the LA, but she has quilted a quilt on a DSM. Her stitching was so even! She's a natural with artistic talent and will easily adapt to FMQ (my machine doesn't have CAD features). She picked out a new to me pantograph she would like to try on baby sized flimsy she put together earlier. Bummer is I work tomorrow and she starts school on Friday. Sewing time is going to be limited now. Picture will follow.

What a fun time you have with your grandbabies, OK.... Looking forward to seeing her FMQ!
So, I have two tops ready to quilt. Decided to make a barn quilt instead of adding to the unfinished pile...I bought everything yesterday and will be working on that this weekend.
