Sharon, anxious to see how your Feb block turned out. I like your prints.

Sharon, I think pg 7 was January's block. February was the signature block. Then again I am so new to this forum that maybe I don't know how to view pictures good. My Feb one is this.

Love those blue specked bird eggs in your block, Sharon (p.7).

Duckling, it so interesting how changing the placement of fabric in your January blocks moves the focus of my eyes. Same with changing fabric choices in your February blocks. Fun! Are you going to use them all in same quilt? It’s a great way to grow the size.

Here is my re-done Jan. block. I think goes a bit better with the Feb. block than the original, but I think the oval placement (on the background fabric) was nicer in the first one.

Joe'smom, I really like the purple and carmel colors. It took me a minute to think what you meant by liking the oval better on the first one. My sister told me about fussy cutting (to get the pattern right where you want it?) but I think it looks fine. They make a lovely purple flow!

I never thought of it that way. I heard another lady was making 2 so she would have 2 quilts at the end. Your idea is worth thinking about!
