DJ your block turned out great and I love your fabrics.
Beverly, nice job working with your print to make an intersection block...I like the way it came out and how the flowers match up.
QB, nice alternative block to add to your BOM and you lined up the stripes splendidly.
I’m still on the fence with this block but will audition a few fabrics and placements today.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this block, either. I guess it depends on what I find in my stash. QB, that mitered center block is a nice touch!

Everybody's interpretations of the block look great!

I appreciate the compliments on my block!

Blueridgebeverly ~ That turned out very well indeed! It’s a good thing we’re not going for ROI. LOL When we take up a BOM challenge I think most of us have the mindset that one block a month will only take a few minutes each. There’s a learning curve here for me as I’m working on a couple BOMs (as I know many of us are) and I’ve never done a BOM before. They take longer than I expected.

Queenbarbiej ~ Very nice block you rebel! I like your use of the striped fabric.

Our reaction to this block is interesting. I certainly resisted at first until I discovered that some of my fabric actually would work for it; yet it’s definitely not my favorite.

    Keep up the great work!

I really like this. It has a good mirror image in spite of the flowers not being identical. Good job.

DJ, great colors! Love your choices for this block.

Blueridgebev, So pretty! I think the center looks great. Neat that the flowers lined up that way.

Queenbarbie, very nice! I considered using stripes in the center too. Yours came out great!

Here is what I FINALLY came up with. The only fabric I had for the center is a one way pattern but after messing around for hours, i gave in and settled on this. I like how it turned out.

Wow, Sharon. Great block. The way you set them slightly off center gives me the thought of a reflection at river’s edge.
