Hmm, that sounds like she has a plan. I was thinking I'd start sewing blocks together. I want mine to be twin size, so I'll need to add something. Since I'm making two sets, maybe I'll do one with my own setting idea, and wait to see what she shows in case I want to use it for the other set,

Nice block! I like that blue flowered print!

    BlueridgeBev, your block looks great!

Sharongn, that is a very pretty block, and looks so good in your colors.

I really want to make this month's block, but I consider it a more long term proposition with the hand sewing; I'm concentrating for the moment on planning out my Harriet's Journey, and then there are the Quilting Life blocks also waiting in the wings (I may have bitten off more than I can chew, as they say).

Here’s my March block. Will be making a No Name block for April.

Wonderful block Blueridgebev and DJ. I’m going to print the pattern today now that I’ve finished the BOM for A Quilting Life.

Sharon, I like your block as well and the colors are great. I think it is a nice alternative to the hexagon block. Is there a name for your block?

    Thanks everyone.

Sewbizgirl, that is a fabulous march block! So pretty and great mirror image!

Jmoore, i got the block from EQ and i think it was called called Broken Dishes. I see there are more than a few named that. The center, darker squares are cut 2 1/2 inch squares (6 each) and all the rest are 2 7/8 inch squares, (12 each colors and 24 white).

I double checked myself. The block is called "cut glass dish". Sorry about that!

SBG, lovely print for the center of the March block! Looks really nice with the borders/cornerstones too.

Well thanks but I'm not in love with the 4 corner blocks. May change them out and use the orange fabric there instead.
