Finally got my blocks done too. I switched May fabrics to Aprils block and Aprils fabric to May. May was a bit too much orange for me on the no name block! Still trying to learn the art of visually selecting fabric for the right location. Glad to be caught up.

Cute blocks, Duckling. I was working on blocks today too... just not these. I am up to 68 of the house blocks, out of 70 I need to send. Will be glad when that swap is done!

And after the houses I made this block for a Boom Swap pal. She sent in Presidents fabric! But I think I found the right block for it. Hope you don't mind my showing it here.

SBG, the Boom block is impressive! What a winner!

Duckling, The NoName block doesn't look too orange to me, but I like orange. The Easter egg fabric looks great with the solid colors. Mine came out quite differently, I guess because I used two fabrics and you used several.

I cut fabric for two each of the May blocks, but I only sewed the triangles together to make one block for each of my sets. The triangles for the second block I kept to use them elsewhere. I sewed the CW triangles to an orphan Lemoyne star block. I guess it's a start for a medallion quilt now. The manly fabric triangles I don't know what to do with yet.

Duckling ~ Very pretty blocks! I seem to have second thoughts on fabric selections for these BOM blocks, too. Only after the blocks are done, so it is what it is.

Sebizgirl ~ Nice block for those fabrics.

Givo ~ Very pretty blocks and nice addition to your orphan block.

We seem to be the target of a porn link poster. Never click on an unfamiliar link posted by an unknown user. It's been reported.

Duckling, the Boom swap (short for boomerang) is one in which you send each participant a fat eighth of a focus fabric you want to use in a quilt. The leader sends you back a package with a fat eighth from each other participant. You make a block of your choosing with the fat eigth plus a coordinating fabric or solid from your own stash. After you turn all your finished blocks in to the leader, they send you back the blocks everyone made for you with your fabric. This is the current Boom swap thread that you can read, if you are interested

This album shows you some finished quilts that we have made with our swapped blocks.

The 'houses' swap is in a facebook group I joined. We are trading 10 house blocks for each participant, which right now is 8. So I need to send 70. Almost there!

My friend Julie has been doing a lot of yard work this Spring, and didn't sew much. Here's her March blocks, and now she's going on to April. She's not doing the hexagons block.
