I have the pocket block done and my July fabrics chosen. As for that unfinished hexie block, my HJ applique blocks are taking precedence, so it will be a while before that is finished.

lol Well, to each their own. You can't say quilters all work/think the same way...

joe'smom, Nice quilting on whatever you have laid your block out on for the picture. Is the back of a quilt you made?

No, givio, that is a quilted bedspread purchased at Kohl's many years ago.

Finished gogoKim’s July block today. I liked the pieced 9” center block. It would make a nice block on its own without SIS.

Beverly, your contrast and colors are spot-on! Well done!

Very nice, Bev! Here is mine; careless trimming, so I will have a scant seam allowance or lose the bottom point.

That looks good, joe’smom! I love that plaid fabric. So fun to see how the block changes depending on fabric choices and placement.

You're right! Light and dark and contrast sure play a big role on this pattern.

I like what I'm seeing! I have the fabrics picked for my July block but haven't had a chance to do it yet. Perhaps tomorrow ... as you all are inspiring me!
