Sewbizgirl, that turned very nice! it's so neat the way we all follow the same pattern, but the end result can look so different. I'm getting caught up on the Bonnie Hunter mystery and then will switch back to this one.

Thank you! It is fun to see what others have come up with. No two alike!

    Thimblebug; congratulations.

I’m working on the step that makes the blocks. The mini-squares are sorted. Then each square is trimmed and sewn into a block. This is very slow. I like design. This is grunt work. How do you keep motivated to persevere?

Haha….well…my DH runs on a different schedule than me, rather than get frustrated, I try to stitch here and there..it all adds up!

Lovely in browns, Thimblebug! Great finish to your top.

Macybaby, love your reds and brights in the blocks. Yours looks bigger than the throw size I made. Maybe a twin?

Love seeing these tops, as they roll out.

Pet, I try to have something interesting to listen to as I do the grunt work. Then I have more to think about than just the sewing.

    Music does help.
I’ve been doing a count down for each row,”need 2 in this row, now 1, completed. Take break before next row. Guess this would celebrating smaller accomplishments more frequently.

kinda like; celebrate dieting through 1 meal, not entire day.

Macybaby, your top turned out great! Fun to see how changing the fabrics makes such a difference.
