A mini with a fancy cake would be a fitting tribute to your Aunt Ellen, Linda. So sorry for the loss of a loved one.

That would be a great idea. I spoke with my cousin yesterday and she is going to send me one of her Mom's oil paintings. Aunt Ellen loved to paint mountain scenes. I was thinking of doing a pictorial quilt from that. But, a fancy cake would be very fitting. Thanks.

I started with 2 two years ago when Chele challenged the DQ swap members; then made 4 more--all six have sold. There's 8 waiting for new homes right now; and like Mary, I sew several and send at one time--saves on postage. I have 2 mini tops done and plans for several others.
