Thank you all for your kind words...the only reason I stayed consistent with the embroidery floss is to keep it simple - I spend quite a bit of time arguing with myself about what fabric will work with what fabric, changing my mind and changing it again that when it comes to embroidery I just don't have it in me to start audition the floss colours!

I have seen the blocks with different colour of embroidery and it seems to work very well.

Not sure if I'll use the lace flower or not. I thought about using lace and trim, but as I started with that, it was introducing additional colors into the "mix" and I didn't care for that.

I got on a role and now have all the pieces fused to fabric. I've got donuts raising in the oven almost ready to fry - then I'll head back upstairs.

Here are some of the ones I assembled yesterday. Ready for stitching!

I wanted to get those with the flower motif done first - so I didn't run out of fabric. Some of these needed four identical flowers to use.

And my hand stitched one - I don't have the pieces cut out for #29 of this set yet, but I think that will be the next one.

I was not happy with my inner or outer points, so I watched a bunch of how-to videos for ideas. I'm doing them a bit differently now, and a lot happier with the results.

Wow Macy, I'm really loving the kaleidoscope effect. They look amazing.

I did get the challenge block cut and fused and then I tackled block 3 which I have been avoiding because of all the little tiny pieces, so I guess we'll see how it turns out.

love all your blocks ladies! Just amazed how lovely they all look - we are doing the same blocks and they are all so different but it all works so well.

Cathy: Wow your productive. Love the fussy cut, so pretty. Can hardly wait until I get to the petal designs.

Kaelyn: Love you colors and the use of the Asian prints.
