Just popping in to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. Hope all of you have a great time over the next few days with friends and family.
AlvaStitcher, your baby quilt is so darn cute. I may have to "steal" that design and make one for my great-grandson.
quiltsRfun, so sorry to hear something bad has happened in your life, especially at the holidays. Sending good thoughts and prayers your way.
I'm approaching the end (hopefully) of a lousy respiratory infection so haven't started sewing on Clue #4 yet. Did manage to finish getting the pieces all cut and marked this afternoon and hope to sew a few together before the next clue is released on Saturday.

Alva, the airplane quilt just couldn't be cuter!
MrsSewnSew, I love your beautiful fabrics. They are going to make an awesome quilt.

Thank you for your kind comments on the baby quilt. The pattern is called "Up, Up, and Away". Designed by Heidi Pridemore. The pattern was published in McCalls Quilting magazine dated July/Auguest, 2010.
I have stacks of magazine pages I have cut out over the years. Once in a while I use one!

I'm finished with clue 4, as you all say..finally
Because I cut my bricks wrong I added about 4 hours to the task...gurr, won't be repeating that!
There is Such a pile of bonus (leftover) triangles... I've stitched some together with a smaller seam allowance and putting four 1/2 square triangles together gives me a 2" square with 8 pieces. Humm this is also the unfinished size of the mystery units. Am I certified nuts to go forward? I don't know!

I think our clue tomorrow is gonna include some neutrals for sure. Fabric requirements for neutrals was 5+ yards, don't think we've used that much yet. I've been sewing strings and strips on adding machine paper. It's wonderful, mindless, therapeutic and calming. Had a long hectic, but wonderful, day yesterday. So just enjoying the peace and quiet. Hope all my QB brothers and sisters have a wonderful Christmas!
