When you set them on point, clue #4 is arranged 5 x 6 and clue #2 is arranged 4 x 5 in alternating rows. They all fit together this way. If the setting is not on point, I have no clue! (pun intended in this case)

I think the alternate block as Splinter has it, with the clue #5 HST blocks in the corners, is so lovely! So I hope that is where we will use them.

This is really inspiring me to get caught up by Friday!

All my clue #5 is done and pressed with about half of them trimmed. Did anyone else have a hard time getting them pressed flat? Guess I should have used spray starch and not just steam.

Alva, the seams are so thick mine don't lay flat either. Once sewn in the quilt they will be ok I think.

AngeliaRN, your neutrals (1157) in the rectangle block are regal (the top two) and the ones underneath look nicely varied. JeanneS, your neutrals (1165) really bring out the constant gray fabric, giving the gray a warm tone.

Here is Clue 5 done! I hope my gray is dark enough. I think I was looking at the darker portion of the fabric not realizing that it was in the minority and that the fabric is more silver than gray. Oh well, it is done now. The one top fabric in the bricks is wild but I only used a little of it. I thought my neutrals were a lot too tame. Ended up making some more HST to replace some that needed more life to them. Ready for Friday! Is Bonnie posting a clue on New Year's Day? I guess I need to go back to Clue 1 and see.

I love your gray, Alva Stitcher. And those neutrals! That floral is gorgeous.
