Interesting, Sophie. I found your post going through your profile of recent posts - still looks like 141 page and I can't get there. Hoping maybe a miscount and this post will tip it over I've tried everything, even entering the 141 page number in the URL bar - it still redirects me back to page 140. I've seen this happen once before, I think it was due to an issue with a photo in one of the posts.

Nope, 142 pages now, and I can't see either of the last two I've logged out, shut down my browser, and I can't think what else to try. I guess I'll have to drop off this thread - it was great seeing all the photos. Good luck to those still working on the mystery.

I love this quilt !!! I think my border fabric is just perfect for this quilt even if it is some old 36 inch yardage. BTW

krista, that is so weird. Hopefully it is just a temporary glitch.

Betty, that is fantastic! Weren't you behind for awhile, or am I thinking of someone else? I agree, the border is perfect!

I've decided to stick with my red centers, and will start sewing those together while I experiment with the gold.

    Betty great boarder choices.

I got all my setting triangles sewn, and 10 blocks (5 of each ) and picked out a quilting pattern for my yellow "pisa" blocks, a stylized sun (if I can manage it) and I will do a version of it for the setting triangles too. I also finished a skirt for myself today.

On Bonnie's blog for Monday she has requested gray strips for a quilt she is working on. Wouldn't it be nice if we all sent her one and said it was a thank you from her Quiltingboard fans?

Wow! That will brighten a room. Great job!

Thanks for the heads-up on the gray, Terry!

Experimenting with the golds has helped me understand that they are necessary just as they are. So I'm embracing them in all their splendor, and full speed ahead (or in my case, plodding slowly along). I did learn to make two very cute blocks.

I love your scrappiness, Alva! It makes it a real "one of a kind" quilt! So interesting to look at, too. Great job!

I like your scrappy neutrals, too Alvaquilter and agree with Kassandra about the neutral rounded squares. I'm seeing so many different looks just from little variations in color and prints. This is such a great pattern. I'm glad I decided to jump in wit this mystery.
