Wow, that is gorgeous! The scrappiness really makes it fun.

I'm doing mine in scrappy 30's. It's kind of slow going because when I put my first two block together with completely random scrappy neutrals, I didn't like it. Mostly because 30's prints are pretty busy to begin with and it just didn't look good to me. So I decided to do more of a 'controlled scrappy' within each block and I like them much better. Also, I'm using blues in place of the gray.

Oh Jane, I LOVE your fabrics! It's totally believable as a 1930's quilt! That red and blue block on the bottom... to die for!

Angelia, your quilt top is fantastic and can't wait to see the borders added. Jane, I love your rendition in 30's fabric. Each quilt looks so unique. I am lagging a little behind and working on Clue 4 with the 30 sets of decapitated geese but I am so committed on getting it done!

Did anyone ever see a name for the block in step #4? Seems to me I saw X Wing fighter but could be wrong - - -

I drafted out a variation of BH's blocks and scaled them a bit to 12" finished. Am thinking of doing my variation in Asian style fabrics.

    I love that 30's fabric!

Also love the scrappiness Angelia! I am finished with rows today but still have to sew them all together.

I love this quilt and find myself being very fussy about seams matching. I've used my seam ripper more on this quilt than any I have made, re-positioning seams to get it just right! I hope the rows go together faster.

Ladies, I've searched and searched. I'm I crazy thinking I've seen someone use their tiny left over HST as star blocks in some of their block centers?

I saw it on the FB group, she did 9 patches for the star block and maybe pinwheels for the pisa blocks (not sure about the pisa block centers) It was posted maybe a week or so ago, that is such an active site unless someone comments recently it would be hard to find.
