Was the grey fabric from the same collection as your gold as it looks like it to me. So far I haven't had to purchase any fabrics and I've made a bucket load of goofs. Wanted to add 2 more rows but hadn't read where the blocks were put on point. That made it way too large so back to original pattern but at least I won't have to cut as many little grey triangles now.
No, the gold fabric is a Thimbleberries I have had for a while and the gray I bought this last summer on clearance at a LQS, it is from Anthology Fabrics. My fabrics are a mix of Debbie Mumm, Thimbleberries, Northcott, and the grey one. I pulled from my favorites that I've been saving, my Thimbleberries stash. I just love them and I hated to use them. If that makes any sense. I will say, tho, I like them better now,

I love seeing everyone's quilts. They are all so beautiful. I am one who will need more time to finish as life has been hectic lately.

My Allietare had to be put aside while I finished four other projects... half way around the binding on the last of the four so this afternoon will be back doing the borders on Allietare....glad that I paused it because I really like the look of the red border first and the gold border that was already cut is plenty long enough...hummmm decisions, fun decisions ! Seems like several will be here for February at least.....good that we have that reminder to copy the clues to our computers or paper because Feb. 1st is almost here, Thank You

Thank you for the compliments sewbizgirl, joe'smom, Bluebonnets and audsgirl. It's on its way to the fabulous quilter. Next, I'll prepare the binding and quilt label so that it's ready to go when the quilt returns home. I call it UFO avoidance. I decided to go with the swag border and a flanged binding (black with red flange) just to add a little color to the finish.

I just realized I don't have clue 4 printed out yet. I am saving that clue to do after I finish with 5.
Thank you for telling me telling me this. I will add this in my notes.

I'm slow but steady. My goal is to finish the flimsy by the end of next week. Here are four plum/cheddar blocks!

Thanks guys. I really have a broad array of cheddar, from yellow to orange, and same with my plums, dark to light. My constant is more a green/teal-gray if that makes sense. I hope it looks ok when they're all together.
