I goofed up big time on Step 4. I didn't read where it stated to use black triangles instead of the grey and I've got all the reds done and was starting on the neutrals. Looks sort of blau to me. It would be such an undertaking to frog all those corner grey sections off and recut black ones. Tell me it will be worth it to redo these sections as I'm losing ambition. I just put the pieces together to see what they looked like with the greys and it doesn't do much for me. The more I think about it the more I know I need to start ripping. Crying as I write this............................

That really sucks Suz. I can totally relate since I did something similar on step 2. I didn't rip mine out. Just cut new fabric and started over. Hoping to use those pieces somehow in a border or on the back.

After explaining my goof-up I went ahead and ripped all the sections apart and re-cut the black. They are now all ready to be sewn together again. Now to find something to use all those grey triangles. As I notice in my pile of miss-cuts and too many cuts, etc. I have a bunch of triangle neutrals so maybe I'll sew the greys and neutrals together and add them somewhere along the borders. Hate to have anything go to waste here. I fell so stupid that I made the mistake but glad I figured it out before I had gone ahead and sewed all the neutral 2 x 4.5 with the greys too. Think I've got everything correct now.
Thanks for helping me get my spirit back and not turning this mystery into an UFO.
