Great job everyone!! Rita and Kate, love your colors. Mine is done too, but have not got it to the long armer yet. I am trying to finish an Irish chain quilt and get both of them to her to quilt. This was such great fun doing this together with all of you.

Ditto, Jeanne! I love seeing what everyone else puts together.

Angelia - I love your choice of fabrics and your quilt is beautiful. I haven't started on mine because my sewing room is packed up in boxes. I'm getting ready to remodel my sewing room and I don't know when I will find the time to start on mine. I am thinking about making mine into a wall hanging or table cloth since I already have so many bed quilts.

I've put mine to the side for now. I'm to the point for having to trim dog ears and I so hate to trim anything plus have other projects more important to work on. Don't need to have it done till the end of the year anyway.

Had some fun this afternoon sewing Allietare blocks together on a "new" (to me) Singer 301 in cabinet. I wanted to see how it would piece, and although it needs a good cleaning and oiling, it sewed pretty well. I love this quilt, and the dear old sewing machine. I'm feeling motivated again to get my top put together. I made all the triangle units for the edges, and have most of the yellow star blocks done. My kitty quilt inspector loved it, too.

sewbizgirl, happy to hear you are back in the "groove"... I can see that a new toy would get someone motivated.
I just finished piecing the 18 setting triangles tonight and was hoping to get it up on the design wall this weekend, however, I committed myself, a couple of sewing machines and my dining room table for a fundraiser project for Coastal Kids preschool tomorrow. We are making centerpieces of some sort (obviously a sewing project) using toddler jeans. I have no clue what they are but will soon find out. Then, on Sunday I am hoping to get my 20 month old grandson for a day... they will be up visiting from Connecticut and I haven't seen him since Christmas... and he would definitely be more fun to play with than my Allietare blocks.

Here are some progress pics, a pic of the Singer 301, and also my quilt inspector...
Well shoot... two of my photos won't upload. I took them with my phone and they might be too big. I don't know how to reduce them.
