It's done! I love this quilt, and am so happy Bonnie blesses us with her mystery every year. This is the first time I tackled a full-sized Bonnie quilt (I usually make 1/2 the blocks and go from there for a throw), and I'm very glad I did, because this looks great on my bed!

Thank you It was quilted on my longarm using a pantograph called "Tickle Too". I used a brown thread to match that fabric, and love how it came out on the borders especially.

I have a flimsy!!! I am so happy! What I learned....I am NOT as smart as I sometimes think I am. My borders are a 2" cheddar, 2" plum, 1.5" neutral, 1.5" moss constant, and 6" black. Thank you to fraew for encouragement and ladydukes for border inspiration. It honestly kicked my butt, but I WON!! (Because of mis-calculation in my stupid brain, I had to Frankenstein about 2 feet. Luckily I don't throw away scraps.) I promised myself I'd finish quilting four Grandma Quilts for my kids then I'll tackle this beauty! I really love it! I just don't have a good spot for a good picture. I hope you can see it. Oh... I have to say I may never miter corners again!

What a beauty! Love your colors and the mitered corners are great. I know what you mean, though. They're a real pain to do. The creative piecing on the borders is genius. Congrats on getting them finished with what little fabric you had available. I never would have known the borders were pieced if you hadn't mentioned it a shown the pictures.

I just had barely enough of two of the fabrics for normal borders. When I went with a mitered one I was SHORT and had to add to the pieces I'd taken out for the mitering. The mitering itself actually was not difficult. I was really mad at myself for running out of fabric. Or forgetting I needed to be careful with what I had...
