I got 160 HST triangles done yesterday. Went through my 2 1/2" squares & picked out all my neutrals, then went to strips. Should finish this clue today.

I'm off to a challenging start. I'm doing Christmas colors and I picked out one Christmas themed fabric as my constant. Unfortunately, after I cut out maybe 150 or so triangle pieces, I realized that the print on my constant is so vague and spaced apart that there isn't actually any consistency, so I'll be out shopping again today. Hopefully I'll find something. I've been reminding myself that this is for fun. I don't have to keep one step ahead like I tend to want to do.

I cut a few strips yesterday, but I could feel it twanging my back, and back is very sore today, so I will wait until later in the week to try again. It will be interesting to see how some of the alternate colorways pan out. I really like the quiet look of the neutral and gray units.

I did mine at 5 inches, big enough that you need to trim a tiny bit but don't have to rip if you make a tiny mistake! (I'd rather trim then rip any day) lol

I have more than 1/2 of my HST made for clue 1. I used Triangulations software and got 168 in an hour....

It took me forever to do last years, but I decided I learned so much from her that I am going to give this one a go. I will be behind as usual because I, m still doing Christmas. But the instructions and the feedback from all who are doing these is so great that you can do that.
