I can't seem to keep the pieces together under the presser foot, and my seam doesn't end up at the correct spot. I reduced the pressure on the presser foot a little, but that didn't seem to help much. Oh, well, I guess I will just have to struggle through. And now I can't seem to upload a photo of my work. Aaarggghhhhhhh!

Audsgirl, Bonnie has a tutorial on her website about 1/4 inch seams and shows you how to use an old card taped down for more accurate seams. It really helped me a lot.

Well, I said I wasn't going to join in this one cos I had too much else on the agenda, but when a friend said she was doing it I decided to join in after all!!

I'm not using Bonnie's colours tho cos I didn't have much of those on the shelves. I've swapped the black/grey/light for brown/gold/cream (cos I had plenty FQs of those colours).

My problems started when I tried to chose the accent colours - I couldn't make up my mind for days. I even resorted to consulting hubby! Hubby, the darling, suggested a trip to the LQS! (Keeper or what?)

    So my final choice is:

    and my clue 1

just in time for clue 2
    cheers, Kate

ps I'll need to make the pics smaller next time lol

The same weird thing happened to me last year -- people would say the clue was up, but I can't see the link on the Allietare page. I see the links for the Intro, Part 1, and the link-up for Part 1, but no Part 2. Could someone who is seeing the link for Part 2 put it here? Thanks!

    edit

I found the link on the Quiltville page!

Bonnie's blog, Quiltville Quips and Snips, is separate from her Quiltville page.
