Thank you for posting those, KalamaQuilts!! They are bold, beautiful and fascinating. It's one of the most wonderful thing about quilts, I think, the way our memories of events are sewn right into them.

I'm sure they will. But I can't figure out the block size - 3"x4" sections make a weird block. Should be some more interesting parts to come.

I've got my sets complete. And even though I thought I was being careful, I had to rip out four sets as I got the white on white neutral sewing on face down.

But my biggest mistake (and I hope it does not mess me up) is that I got mixed up cutting my 2" squares, and have 80 cut of the constant. I know I started out with more yardage than suggested, so hopefully we'll either need more 2" squares at some point, or I'll have enough yardage left that I won't end up wishing I had another 4" on the end!

    Here are my sets

let me know when you are here, perhaps we'll able to get together for a chat. SandraP can vouch that I'm a bit friendly lol. (Also do a bit of photography myself, so you've piqued my interest in that course.....

    cheers, K

Yep, all four are backwards :-(. And I had congratulated myself for getting the directional fabrics matching too lol.
