    Beautiful, Alva, Jeanne and Julie!

Alva, it looks like you stayed very light with your neutrals, so your gray should be fine. Great reds and neutrals!

Jeanne, you have some wonderful reds, and that is an excellent gray.

Julie, your reds are just fabulous!

I'm doing mine in 30's prints with a constant neutral (and blue instead of grey). Here's my guess on possible block layout. Great spot in the center for something yellow!!

I finished and pressed my clue 2. Still a few to go on clue 1, and nothing is pressed yet for that, except these 4 blocks.
I'm sticking with 1 colour everywhere except my neutrals - but those are all very similar. I'll make the sets of 4, however.

My problem is my constant (brown in my photo). It's a mottled fabric, and has more variation in it than I was expecting to see. Not too obvious here, you can see some of the difference between the clue 1 and 2 sections, but some pieces are much lighter. I hope that doesn't throw things off. I tried to stick to a set of 8 "matching" browns for each set of 4 blocks.

Lovin' all the "Santa hats." This looks to be a fun and fast clue. I'm enjoying seeing everyone's progress on this mystery quilt.

I finally got a chance today to start working on my Clue #2 units. Everything is cut and about 5 sets are sewn. Just finished marking all my gray squares for the rest of them so it will go a little faster for the next sets. Hopefully I will get the rest of this clue finished tomorrow and will post photos then.

I am behind on clue #2. Finished #1 but then we went traveling for a week. We will be home late tomorrow night so hopefully I can make #2 on Wednesday or Thursday.
