Allietare! - Bonnie Hunter's 2015 Mystery Quilt
#745
My sewing room will be off limits today and tomorrow. Today I have to clean house to prepare for a cookie exchange and luncheon that I am hosting tomorrow. Believe you me...... I would much rather be sewing. LOL. Well maybe late afternoon tomorrow will work to get in there and get started.

Gobs of 4 patches... yay! Might need to scrounge for more cheddar. I'm glad this one is so easy because I got a late start (yesterday!) on clue 2 and need to finish up that one first.
How in the world is she going to put all this together???

Oh - that does look fun! I'm excited to get cutting into my golds. Gotta work until noon though, and then finish up the quilt top that I've been working on this week - I'm putting the rows together and it's on point so the ones in the middle are really long, and the ones on the ends are short.
The only down side, the quilt I've been working on all week is half 9 patch blocks, so I've been sewing strips and cutting them apart and resewing them all week - and now that is what I get to to for the mystery.

I'm also still working on clue #2, sewbizgirl. My first set of 20 geese were atrocious! Not only were the poor things headless, they were deformed, with curved bottoms, and not a single one was 4 1/2". I adjusted seam allowance and used a lighter hand with the iron on the second 20, and they were much improved -- the right length, but still somewhat wonky at the top and bottom. By the time I get to the last 20, I should have it down, lol.
