in addition to the Moda chart, I have the Kaufman Kona chart, so will try to give you my best guess as to the match up of the chips to KONA:

Heirloom Red chip-------Ruby Red #352 and Wine 1390
    Roasted Chestnut gold------Ochre 1704, Butterscotch 349
    Afternoon Tea-----Sunflower 353
    Winter Flannel------Shale 456
Autumn Fog---Shadow 457 or Ash 1007, but slightly more blue , not a good match
    Divine cream----Bleach White 1287 or oyster 1268
Italian Ice---sky 1513 but slightly lighter or Ice Frappe 1173, but slightly lighter.

Same caveat---everyone sees colors differently, but these are as close as I see them. Hope that helps!!

I am joining in this year also. I actually like how last years turned out. It was quite busy, but the result of the piecing was fun and enjoyable. I pulled my colors no photo though. I am so glad I was able to pull from my stash as well. I have more of the Henry Glass/Buggy Barn tones in mine. That is where most of my golds and reds were, plus neutrals. My blacks are some BB, but lots from a quilt frenzy I went on last year to get the kids wedding quilt completed. My gray is from that frenzy shopping as well. Excited. Not like I need to do another project since I have several (over 60) other projects to do, but the fun is to finish it by end of year and quilt in January.

I'm going to try a half size quilt this year. I love the Mystery process but I ave several UFOs to work on too. I think I will be going with a true terracotta look instead of the darker reds.

So very nice of you Jeanne S!!! Thank you for taking the time to look these up and compare. It has been interesting trying to find these colors.

I'm thinking of using a blue instead of the gray. It's a solid I've had for a long time.

Suz --- the first Friday clue won't be until the Friday after Thanksgiving. You've still got plenty of time to get everything together!

Do you know how long the mystery quilt lasts? I know you said you get instructions every week, but I didn't hear how many weeks it usually runs.
    Thanks,
    Bonnie I

This is copied from Bonnie's instructions:

Our first clue goes live on Friday, November 27th, with each new clue being released on consecutive Fridays until we are complete. Plan on 6 to 8 clues – I haven’t decided how to break it down yet. Remember, it’s a mystery for a reason and some things need to be revealed one at a time without us knowing every detail first!

The last 2 years, Bonnie has released the final step on New Year's Day. I'm kind of counting on that happening again
