Everyone has done a super job!! Do we know how many clues there will be or when we start assembling blocks? I know, patience is not one of my many virtues........

I was wondering that too so I went back to the Introduction & this is what she said:

"Plan on 6 to 8 clues – I haven’t decided how to break it down yet. Remember, it’s a mystery for a reason and some things need to be revealed one at a time without us knowing every detail first!"

Maybe by Clue #4 we'll start putting blocks together. I have enjoyed the size of the Clues so I hope she keeps them about the same.

Bonnie kept mentioning the white and black stripes on the buildings, so I think that we will be doing some black and neutral string blocks soon.
Maybe they could line up against the headless geese?

Off to sew my strips together this afternoon.
I agree. Your 4 patches look so vital and lively. Great job!

Thanks Amy! I agree with the size of the clues so far, they have been reasonable to get done in a week, especially if you have other things you have to get done. Doesn't seem that we are nearly half way done yet though looking at my piles of pieces!!

Windblown, I agree---there are surely lots of blacks and neutrals left to go---and she does like strings!

Done with my 4-patches. I still need to cut the larger neutrals but I'm calling it a night.

quiltsRfun, those are wonderful! You scrappy quilters have such great neutrals.

I now have 3 good batches of 20 headless geese! I just need to re-do 5 from my first batch, and I can add the neutrals!

    edit

Black and neutral string blocks would really be unusual! I was wondering if we might have a black or striped sashing, but that would probably require constant fabrics.

my guess is that we will make "pieces" until the reveal.....I remember last time I had all these one or two seam objects in baggies marked with clue number....then finally the last clue told us where everything fit together.

QuiltsRfun, your 4 patches are wonderful, some great prints in them. I think I picked too many tone-on-tone fabrics. Oh well, this is my first mysterery quilt. First BH quilt for that matter. Scrappy quilts require more thought and planning than I thought they would and they are learning experiences. The good ones don't just "happen" IMHO.
