I think I've got it but still have time to change some pieces out before the first clue is released. Maybe a few more neutrals to be added depending on how they will be used. If we end up doing some string piecing with all those neutrals, I'll need to add more variety. Time will tell. Here goes......if you see something that screams "take me out of here," let me know!

Podunk, the only one I wonder about is the third from the top. Does it have too much black to be used as a red and too much red to be used as a black?

Good question.......I'm going to wait to see how the blacks/reds are used in the clues before making a decision on that one. I'd like to get it in there somewhere so may hold off and use it as an inner border fabric or binding instead of using it in the blocks.

Here's a helpful link for anyone who hasn't used the Easy Angle Ruler or Companion Ruler (demos of other rulers are included at this link as well). If you are trying to decide whether or not to purchase one (or use the one you already have), these videos may help with your decision.

It would probably be a good choice for an inner border. Love the fabric.

wondering about neutrals with kinda dark print...going to go back to directions to check but seem to recall Bonnie commenting that she was going to take out some of the shirting neutrals because of this....still sorting here.

Podunk your fabrics are beautiful and perfect shades. I bet you will need some more light neutrals though.

Here is what I've pulled. The neutrals got a bit washed out in the picture- but they are all on the white/off white range.

I tried several greys, and ended up with a blue/grey instead. So I guess I'm going for the water and not the sand on the beach.
