Woo Hoo! I have all of my HST made for Clue 1. I used Triangulations, but there's a site where you can get a similar type pattern for FREE at Quilting and WhatNot. If you want more variety than 24 HST at a time, you can cut the paper in half, in strips or even into sets of two to sew. I got all of mine made in about 3 hours.

Beautiful fabrics, Sheri!
I haven't even started my clue 2 yet. Been tied up with THE QUILT FROM HELL, which I finally finished today. It's a T shirt quilt that was just impossible to quilt. Tension problems, needle problems, you-name-it problems from having to sew through all that silk screening and plasticy iron-on shirt stuff. Yuck. Next time I get snookered into a T shirt quilt, I will just pay some longarmer to finish it for me.
So... maybe I can start my Santa Hats tomorrow. Love all of everyone's that I've seen so far.

@sewbizgirl: my sons gf made him a Tshirt quilt for Christmas a few years ago. It was GIANT! The thing is....she tied at the four corner spot ONLY. She has one of her own that is done in the same way. It has bunches and bunches of batting wads all along the edges and zero batting in the body of the quilt. So.....awful me....when my son moved out of state, without said gf....I kept his Tshirt quilt and did all kinds of FM in each block to hold the batting in place. I quilted around the silk screening. like little bats on the batman block and really lots of meandering. I know it was super rude to touch the quilt someone else made, but I just couldn't bear it getting its batting in a wad...

I decided if I finish Miss Bonnie's clues early I would work on my long lost Orca Bay. I really have all the hard parts done. I was embarrassed at myself at how much I had done and yet it has sat since .... 2012? Errr let's say 2013(January..cough cough) I cut the center 2.5" pink pieces for the blocks last week I had everything else pictured cut/done, and for the next couple of days I'll be making more of these Ohio Stars. My quilting buddy is joining me in my OB quest.
Oh. I also started a leader/ender project with my batik 2.5" candy I've collected from my swap. I'm sewing them to black batiks and making a batik/black checker board quilt in whatever size I get when my batik candy is gone!

I really admire you who make the leader/ender quilts! It is too much for me to cope with, lol. That is lovely, Sheri, as are your Sleepy Hollow units. I'm glad you are finally realizing your plum-cheddar dream quilt!

OMG... I think I have just been banned from Quiltville's Open Studio. All I did was post about a tragic girl who lost her family in a fire and is requesting Christmas cards. I suggested making quilted Christmas cards for her and now my post is gone and I am banned. I loved Quiltville Open studio! Does anyone know who I can contact about this?
