Next month we are doing one where we are all using the same base fabric. The rule is that we have to embellish it, but cannot do applique or machine embroidery.

ok, I'm not in charge and haven't read all the posts from the beginning but I challenge you all to make an art quilt of any size with the theme being portrait. Since June has already started lets put a deadline on this of the end of July 2016. There are many ways to do this. I suggest you start with a photo and posterize it, then fuse the fabric like an applique.

I just found this board awhile ago. I think that its pretty much doing what we all want to do. I don't find any kind of registration. Just make your art and post it so we can all see it.
