Okay I don't get into working with paints etc, but enjoy listening to you all chat about it. I just registered 3 quilts for AAQI and two are very traditional quilts with little bits of fabric. The third is more artsy. Here's my try. OBTW ST's poem is:

Thanks for the kind words. No nancia, it's a poem by Sara Teasdale--mid 20th century poet. I thought it fit the quilt. I do write haiku and have a couple of ideas for mini's with a couple of those.

here's the thing-- i am so far behind i think i'm in the next race! i have a couple ideas, and lots of dye, etc to play with so soon i will be really experimenting. for the moment i have another quilt to bind, blocks for a swap, and a dq for whenever! i'm so confused!!

I've been busy "playing" getting ready for the county fair here...The first one on this thread is my "Art Quilt" entry...(I found out last nigh and think I'm still in shock this morning.) http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...o-t199141.html Anyway, after I get it back next week, I'll take some detailed pictures of the quilting, beading, crystals, yarn, etc. to share the techniques with you all here!
