Such awesome finishes - JeanieG, IceBlossom,and granny12.
JeanieG and IceBlossom - I like the way the your reds and blues play together. Very nice.
Granny12 - I like your border and the use of greens. Very pretty.

It's been nice seeing and reading about the updates. I hope it reassures those of you who have put the project on pause.
Granny12, I'm glad you were able to connect with us here on this project. I really like the calm and cool in your version, especially the border treatment. Mine is super busy and although they wash out in the overall pictures, I'm really not thrilled with how busy my neutral/white prints are... there's always something that those of us too close to our projects can see/pick on.

Jeannie…fantastic finish! I like your corners..
granny12….really gorgeous finish, as well. Loving the colors and border design. You made it unique…
I mailed off my quilt to the vet reunion coordinator so it will be ready for raffle during event. It’s a really cool pattern and happy I participated again this year.

Just checking in with folks and giving some encouragement to those still working away or thinking maybe it's time to bring this project back up...
it's never too late to post pictures of your project or ask for help in general or misplaced clues.
I am hoping (but no promises) to get my top quilted before Thanksgiving.
For the next one, I m still planning to use cream-tan for my neutrals no matter what Bonnie designs. Probably will be using civil war fabrics as well but can't commit to that yet
Hope to see everyone (and more) back for the next one -- lol, just six and a half months until the October fabric pre-clue!

I'm so happy that you are happy with the way your top turned and the brown substituion!

It took me quite a bit to figure out how to post here -- for me the big thing is that I use an old school digital camera (can't help with phone pictures) and the file sizes were too large so I have to reduce the file size before I post. The post in that thread covers most things but keep in mind that you only have a few minutes before your log-in "times out" and that you only have 5 minutes to edit a post so it helps if you know where/how to find your download directory or options.
If you still need help, tell us what you are doing such as cellphone (type and carrier can help). Where you seem to go wrong, or any other pertinent info.
