I can't decide about the quilting either. To do at home? Or pay for it? lol
Old School is the only school I've had! Seems we shouldn't keep adjusting the rules of language to suit our butchery of it.

This somehow reminds me of a funny thing my Dad used to say... meaning he politely didn't care for something:

"It's not the fondest thing I'm of".

Our generation's butchery of the English language isn't any where near the levels the newer generations have reached.

English is a living language--living languages change.

AngeliaNR, That seems to be the case-- we certainly are not speaking 'King James' English anymore. Saying 'thee' and 'thou' is pretty in poetry though. Some old turns of phrase are very nice, like in Shakespeare plays.

joe'smom, Wow, you are really going at it! I've just been taking from my unit piles at random, only taking care not to have the same print touching each other on a block. I think when I get down to the end of the piles they won't be all the same print, but time will tell! :-p I've got 6 of my 12 blocks done and sewn in rows.

Your quilt is looking good, Angelia!

Your version is cool too, PlaysWithColor... it shows how much like Celtic Solstice this quilt is.

Wow, Joe's Mom! I wonder if that's how Bonnie did it.

Here is mine so far. I am thinking about replacing the green/yellow qst with purple instead of the green. I'm still trying to figure out what to do in the center of my stars.
