NZquilter, I don't think the toy fabric looks at all like your constant. It looks great with your turquoises and contrasts well with your yellows. It would be a bit busy if it were placed next to your constant, but chances are you will have some leeway in placement, so I see no problem with using it.

Jeanne, the easy angle won't work for this. Do you have a JoAnn's nearby? They probably have the Tri-Recs tool. Otherwise, Bonnie detailed some other alternatives at the end of the clue posting (but I didn't bother to read them, as I have the rulers).

Which magenta would you use?
I'd go w/ the one on the far right, it has the most "pop"

I love that fabric and think it gives it some extra interest, so I really want to keep it. Please tell me what you think? With or without the green toy fabric? My fabrics are all FQ and scraps, but the dark greens are at least a yard each. I hope my pictures didn't load the size of a house here!
I wouldn't use both that bright toy green and your chosen constant, I would switch one or the other (if it were me I'd chose a different green.)

What is the angle of the "easy angle" ruler? This is basically a 54 / 40 or fight block so the angle is 54 degrees if the easy angle is 45 or 60 (like I think) it won't work.

Do yourself a favor and get the Tri Recs ruler. It will make things a lot easier and it's a ruler that you can use for other Bonnie patterns or possibly your own designs.

The Easy Angle is a 60 degree angle, I think, it looked too wide to me. Oh well, I will just have to give in and found the Tri Rec ruler set on Amazon Prime for $8.50, won't break the bank!! Should be here on Sunday, have plenty of 4 patches to keep me busy until then!!! Thanks for your help. I have never been good with figuring out angles for some reason.
I am also second guessing my pastel substitution for the magenta, so this will give me a little more time to search for an alternative.

Well I finished enough squares for a picture. Here is my clue 1 and 2 w/ the as yet unused fabrics, still including the b/w cat fabric still deciding on it.

Definitely the one in the middle! It makes your other fabrics sparkle.
