SheriR, Your quilt is bound to have an antique look with all those prints. I'd like to shop where you shopped for fabric! It wouldn't be an online shop, would it? Lovely prints! I especially like the rooster one. :-)

What pretty batik blocks, Fraew. Can't wait to see that quilt.

SheriR, I love your fabrics, too. So much beautiful variety.... Don't think I see two fabrics alike.

Okay, so I just finished making all of my dark purple triangle blocks.
THEN I went to read the instructions and realized that the purple side triangles were not supposed to match.
Both of my side triangles match each other in the square.
Now I'm wondering if that will make a huge difference in the look of this quilt.

I thought Bonnie just said they didn't need to match. She said it could be done w/ yardage so everyone doing their's w/ yardage will have matching points.

Sheep Farmer, I don't see how it could make a huge difference. The important thing is that they are dark purple.

I've been collecting these fabrics for years! Shop hop after shop hop I'd grab some neutrals or cheddars or plums. I'm excited to see how my cheddars and greens fit with these other clues!

I think you'll be fine. Several people have done them matching, deliberately.

I made all mine with matching sides. Each square maybe different purples but both sides match.

Yes, lawsonmugs, that's what mine will look like.
Okay, I feel much better now.
    Thank you, everyone!

SheepFarmer, since I am only using one Dark purple fabric, all of mine match, not just each side of a unit! Since she said we could use constant fabrics throughout, I think we will be fine.
