All xxxxx number blocks are current for Clue 6. I’ll repeat myself-I’m liking it.

Love how everyone is progressing. I have another week or so before I can get downstairs to my sewing machine, so I'll have another couple of clues to look at before I can get back to clue #1. But this thread certainly is keeping me interested. Thanks so much everyone!

Don’t you just love the pretty stack of goodness? My yummyness is all done and stacked, as well. I appreciate the assembling clues so early on in this mystery…keeping me motivated…

Just finished a test block to see if I need to make a few adjustments. A few were noted and will make the changes for future blocks.

The colors are way off and appear to be inaccurate. I have bad camera skills!

    That's a gorgeous block, Cheesehead!

I'm on my last seam for the clue 5 blocks.

The more I look at y'all blocks the more I think that yardage was the way to go with this one. Anyone else think so?

Oh I don't know. I still love the twinkle of scrappy blocks.

I’d add 1/8 yd to the amounts Bonnie listed.

    Cheese…great block!

joesmom….good for you..you are caught up… clue 6 assembles quickly..I took my time to make sure points accounted but, other than that…..Zip zip..

toverly….I like the bits of scrappy look, too, as sewbiz mentioned, which is why I still went scrappy on BG and yellow. I’m thinking either version is going to look beautiful though. I’m not a batik lover but the batik some are using in the mystery looks stunning.

Okay, here are my clue 5s. They are quite uniform. I used one set of fabrics for the clue 1 four-patch. I made only four matched QST sets. When it came time to choose my aqua squares, I tried a whole range of hues and values, but liked this light shade the best, so I chose three similar aquas. As I see it, I have one orange that shows up well, one that shows up poorly, and two that are in-between.

I have a good start on clue 6, so that shouldn't take forever. Kind of excited to see my blocks with the stash purples I hunted up.
